Horsebox.tv – Ireland’s dedicated online equestrian channel recording at the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show 2010

For the first time in history, Irish equestrian video footage is available for everyone to view live from Horsebox.tv, Ireland’s dedicated online equestrian channel will be streaming live footage from the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show online. For the first time ever, viewers will be able to watch selected classes from the comfort of their home. Footage can be viewed live on large screens at the RDS or on www.horsebox.tv. Edited footage is also available post-event to view from the website.

We’ll be covering a selection of content to include the Connemara Performance Hunters, Young Event Horses, Pony Club Games and Amateur classes. Our aim is to give both Irish people and foreigners a destination to view some of the top Irish horses and ponies competing in their respective disciplines. This can only help with the promotion of the Irish Sport horse and pony in the Horsebox.tv will also interview competitors, visitors and celebrities attending the event.

Declan Carty, former International Showjumper and Main Arena Commentator at the RDS also feels
this is a hugely positive advancement for Ireland. “I think this is an outstanding initiative from HorseBox
TV and should be encouraged. Anything that brings the World Famous Dublin Horse Show closer to
the public, and not just the public in Ireland, but across the globe, is something we should all welcome.
Whether you live in Alaska or Adelaide, you’ll be able to watch events from RDS in Ballsbridge LIVE -
now the whole world will know what they’re missing!”
